Hosting their Australasia conference in Sydney, UBS reached out to our Saxton Engage team as they were looking to partner with former world number 1 tennis player, Andre Agassi. Touching on the conference theme Craft of Sport, Andre shared his insights on mastering your craft in a sporting landscape.
Andre Agassi travelled to Sydney to attend the UBS Australasia Conference and promote his partnership with UBS through a number of bespoke campaign assets. Andre was featured in The New York Times, The Australian following some media interviews. Andre was joined by sports presenter, Roz Kelly for a fireside chat at the conference, after which he posed for pictures with UBS clients for a meet-and-greet style photoshoot. He also was the star of a Pickleball match activation outside the Museum of Sydney where hundreds of Sydneysiders stopped to see the American tennis star.

Providing end-to-end management of the campaign and attending the 2-day conference in Sydney, Saxton Engage arranged the logistics of Andre’s involvement. Working closely with the UBS events and marketing team, a strong relationship was formed between the two companies. UBS were thrilled with the event and Andre’s vulnerability sharing his on his lack of choice growing up as a tennis phenom, how this impacted his identity and career, both negatively and positively, and how he is able to answer the question ’Who am I now?”.
