Being present and self-aware can give you the tools to reduce the impact of stigma surrounding mental health and make lasting, positive impact.
As we near the end of 2021 and are still dealing with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, workplaces are confronted with a number of factors threatening the mental wellbeing of their employees.
We should all be working to create a world where people can understand and manage their mental health without the shadow of stigma.
There are a number of things we can action within our own lives to reduce the power stigma holds within the mental health community.
1. Talking openly about mental health and treatment
2. Choose empowerment over shame
3. Take steps to understand and educate yourself and others
