We are pleased to announce that celebrated Australian songstress, Kate Ceberano AM, has joined our roster as an Exclusive Speaker.
Kate has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years with her genre crossing career boasting 28 albums (7 Platinum, 7 Gold), four ARIA Awards, four Countdown Awards, three MO Awards and a Logie. She also successfully stepped out from behind the microphone and on to the dance floor, winning season 6 of Dancing with the Stars. She was also the first woman inducted to the Australian Songwriters Hall of Fame and in 2016, she was awarded the Order of Australia for significant service to the performing arts and charitable organisations.
Bringing a unique style and presence to the stage, Ceberano’s speaking engagements are often presented sitting at a keyboard, facing the audience and interspersing her talk with relatable and well-known songs. Her iconic song ‘Brave’, the title track from her Triple Platinum album BRAVE, for example, is a perfect illustration of what it has taken to succeed in life and business.
“There’s a part of every human being that responds to the simple acoustic sound of live music and it’s a frequency that can’t be underestimated. I am so excited to be working with Saxton Speakers to reach a range of audiences and create memorable moments sharing insights, stories and experiences and of course, music,” said Ceberano.
Having broken into one of the toughest industries on the planet at the age of 15 - and succeeded - Ceberano is well versed to address topics such as Motivation, Culture, Ethics, Leadership and Trust as well as themes such as Creativity and Innovation.
Saxton Speakers CEO, Anne Jamieson, said of the announcement: “With her incredible improvisational abilities and many thousands of live performances under her belt, in stadiums with 100,000+ people and live TV audiences of billions, Kate Ceberano is at her best live and in the moment. We are so pleased to offer her talents as a Speaker, Entertainer, Conversationalist and MC through the Saxton Speakers network.”
A very warm welcome to Kate!
