Breann stamped herself as a serious player of the future after an outstanding 2016 season for Cranbourne in the VWFL. Playing mainly in the Ruck, Breann used her athleticism to give her fellow midfielders the first use of the footy.
Selected with pick 67 for the Blues, Breann excelled in her first AFLW Season with a highlight being her Ruck work and contested marking. Since the end of the first AFLW season, Breann continued to build her form during the VWFL season, in preparation for the 2018 AFLW Season. This was clearly evident as Breann took her game to a new level and received a NAB Rising Star Nomination as well as being named in the All-Australian squad. However, the icing on the cake was her win in the Club Best & Fairest Award which clearly signaled her improvement and importance to the Carlton team.
Brea took up a student exchange as part of her University Studies after the 2018 AFLW Season which was a great life experience. Returning to Australia halfway through the 2019 preseason, Brea bounced in the action and added forward craft to her game in what was a much improved season for the Blues.
Over the past two seasons, Brea has continued to work hard on her game which was recognized when she won All-Australian honours in 2021.
Outside of football, Brea is currently managing a gym which includes running a variety of classes for its members.
