Urban Music Award-nominated soul and rhythm and blues band Brown Sugar are Lady Lyric and Miguel George on vocals, Michael Dolce on guitar, Byron Luiters on bass, Deni Di Filippo on drums and Jonathan 'JC' Corea on keys and saxophone.

Brown Sugar can provide variations on the band's size, adding vocalists, horns sections, percussionists, choirs, dancers and numerous other performers as required.

They can also provide professional PA hire, Sydney's best DJs and can recommended photographers.

Current work

Brown Sugar currently have a weekly Friday residency at Marble Bar in Sydney's Hilton Hotel and at The Basement where they perform tribute shows once a month. The band also performs special feature shows every New Years Eve at the Sydney Hilton's Zeta Bar, as well as feature spots at respected venues around Sydney including the Golden Sheaf Hotel in Double Bay and The Piano Room in Darlinghurst.

Features: Brown Sugar has featured on Channel 10 News, the LifeStyle Channel's Four Weddings, Sydney Festival NYE Celebrations at Darling Harbour, NITV, Hip Hop TV, a number of headline artist after parties including for John Legend, as well as headlining P&O's end of year cruises.

Artists: Members of Brown Sugar are currently working or have previously worked alongside artists including John Butler Trio, Delta Goodrem, Jessica Mauboy, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Brian McFadden, Deni Hines, Guy Sebastian, Ricki Lee, The Young Divas, Casey Donovan, Anthony Callea, Roachford, Mica Paris and Rahsaan Patterson. The band's members are currently on or have previously performed on television programs such as The Voice Australia, Australian Idol, The Today Show, Rove Live, Sunrise, Mornings with Kerri-Anne, Video Hits, The Morning Show, Live At The Basement, Live At The Chapel and Max Sessions, on Channel V, MTV and The Disney Channel, and at awards ceremonies including the ARIAs, the Teen Choice Awards and the Nickleodeon Awards.
