I may not drive, but I am always in the driver’s seat of my life.
Chanelle Morris is a 25-year-old Motivational Speaker & Disability Advocate. Chanelle is legally blind in one eye and has 30% vision total. Diagnosed at just 4 years old, her condition remains a mystery still to this day.
As Chanelle grew up with a disability, she often saw herself as less than others creating significant negative beliefs about herself. After hitting rock bottom she decided to turn her life around and sent herself to New Zealand for a solo ski season. Chanelle learnt, that it was never her disability holding her back, but it was her mindset about her disability that did. And this is her key message throughout her public speaking. Living with a disability has had its challenges for Chanelle and this fuels her passion to advocate for others facing similar adversities. She focuses particularly on disability access and inclusion as these are the largest areas needing improvement within our society.
