Glen Jakovich is a much loved icon in West Australian sporting circles, his grim-faced determination and muscular physique etched into the memories of all who lived through the rise and rise of the West Coast Football Club.
Previous experience
Champion: Drafted to the Eagles in 1990, Glen quickly became a champion centre half back and was an integral member of the Premiership-winning teams of 1992 and 1994, the former the first time the trophy had been lifted by a non-Victorian team.
Awards: Named the club's Best & Fairest in 1993, 1994, 1995 and 2000 and a two-time All Australian in '94 and '95, Glen retired from AFL football in May 2004 after 276 games for the club.
Presenter: Following a magnificent on-field career, his work as a Fox Sports presenter and as a football analyst for 96FM and 6PR has kept him firmly in the public eye.
Now an All Australian Selector, AFL Life Member and inductee of the AFL, WAFC and 2011 Inaugural West Coast Eagles Halls of Fame, Glen Jakovich is a champion, much-loved public figure and now an experienced media personality with a committed passion for professionalism.
