Get More Out of Drinking Wine

He/Him

Profile

Good Booze. Blind is an invitation to engage with your palate and explore the world of wine in a completely new way.

Their experiences are rooted in the industry standards of wine but take a fresh, ego-free approach to talking the talk.

Good Booze. Blind teach audiences how to approach tasting and talking about wine and the next time they're doing the ordering they'll look like a pro!

Meet your host, Nathen Doyle Good Booze. Blind's in-house 'Cork Dork.' Nate is the host for all Good Booze. Blind events. He has worked in and around the world of wine since he was 17 and has built a wealth of knowledge around the industry that he just loves to share.

Nate is also the owner of Heartattack and Vine, a venue on Melbourne's iconic Lygon Street, modelled on the simplicity and hospitality of Europe's small neighbourhood bars. Keeping things simple, warm and friendly while showcasing premium quality ingredients is the core ethos of Nate and the team, they want their guests to feel at home, whether on a hot date, having a solo drink at the long bar, or grazing for hours with friends at one of their communal tables.

In addition, Nate has worked as a cellar hand and as a wine store clerk. He has run award-winning wine bars both in Australia and Canada. He also makes his own wine out of McLaren Vale in South Australia. He's done all this just so he can sit in a room with people and chat wine because what he really loves is showing people a great time!

Nate brings the sometimes-intimidating wine world to the people who love to enjoy it. His ego-free approach is filled with interesting notes on winemaking, brand development, and the hospitality industry all laced with his distinct cheeky charm.

Feedback
At our EOFY event, we had one of the blind tasting event packages offered by Nathen, and we were very impressed with what he put together for us! Nathen's knowledge of wine and his tasting notes were interesting and informative, we were fascinated by the different ways he described wine. This was an excellent way to begin our evening, offering a highly interactive experience for our team, and Nathen was a brilliant host! It was a very fun time for all of us! Saxton Speakers Bureau
