Observed annually on 17 May, the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) marks the historic 1990 decision by the World Health Organization to remove homosexuality from its International Classification of Diseases. Today, IDAHOBIT serves as a powerful global movement, raising awareness of the violence, discrimination, and inequalities still faced by LGBTQIA+ communities worldwide.
