Janey was an absolute delight as speaker and facilitator for our recent Forever Projects ‘Collective Effervescence’ event in Melbourne. Her posture of calm confidence allowed our audience to instantly relax and trust Janey’s words of guidance and leading. She has that rare ability to connect with a gathered group beyond just her words.. using her eyes, facial expressions, and body language to catalyse and maintain strong engagement, while still communicating verbally with clarity and conviction. Our event included a panel which Janey facilitated masterfully. Via the posture described above, she helped panelists feel safe and confident to surface their unique and vulnerable insights. A number of guests commented on how much they appreciated this element of the evening (25% response rate to our post-event survey with 24 hrs, with 100% of people giving a 5-star rating). She also knew the topic and panelists well enough to stay agile during the live conversation, trusting her intuition to go deeper on interesting threads that would add value to the audience. The combination of Janey’s empathy, generosity, and bravery, together with her thorough event preparation and wide-ranging domain knowledge and experience from decades of success in business and life, position her as the dream speaker for any event curator.
