Jayne Azzopardi is the newsreader on Channel Nine’s Today Show. She has been a journalist for 25 years and has been with Nine for 14 years.
Jayne joined 9News in 2009 as a political journalist in Canberra. As a news reporter, she covered breaking news and big news stories across Australia and around the world – from election campaigns and natural disasters to Hollywood red carpets and royal tours. Before joining Nine, she worked for international news organisations including ITN, BBC, CNBC and Al Jazeera.
Prior to her current role, Jayne was the host of Weekend Today alongside Clint Stanaway. She currently lives in Sydney with her husband and two sons Joey and Theodore.
