Karen Tso is one of the country's top business broadcasters and has recently joined the “on the road” reporting team for Nine Network's 6pm News and Nightline, covering both business and general news stories. Karen is also the host of Nine's high profile weekly property show MyHome, with airs Saturdays at 1pm.

As a Nine Network personality, Karen regularly appears on the Today Show, Mornings with Kerri Anne, Qantas in-flight bulletins, and Nine News Podcast.
Previous experience
Nine: Karen worked at Nine for the past three years, but during that time also anchored Sky Business Report, the flagship evening business program for Sky News, with in depth analysis of the days business and finance news, complete with interviews and market commentary.
ABC: Prior to joining the Nine Network in 2005, Karen worked as a reporter and presenter for five years at national broadcaster the ABC. Karen hosted a nightly finance spot on the ABC's news and current affairs program Lateline, in addition to filing long format tv reports on major stories such as James Hardie's asbestos compensation scandal and soaring debt levels in the mortgage belt, a key focus in the 2004 Federal Election.
During her time at the ABC Karen developed her skills in live television, presenting breaking news on the share market for ABC Midday News and Business, as well as filing company stories for Business Breakfast. Alongside her television duties Karen had regular radio commitments, as the finance commentator for Sally Loane Talkback on ABC Local Radio for four years, and ABC Radio's top current affairs program PM.
Political Reporter: During her career, Karen has also worked as a Political Reporter Win TV Hobart, and freelanced for SBS World News, SBS current affairs show Insight, and Australian Associate Press writing stories for the Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian and Daily Telegraph. More recently Karen has had features published in the Bulletin magazine and Real Living.
Education: Karen has a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University, Queensland in 1994. She has also been completing a Masters in Journalism at the University of Westminster, London and the University of Technology, Sydney.
Personal: Karen has a strong interest in horse racing and is part of the Nine Network's live racing broadcast, and appears regularly on Mornings with Kerri-Anne to share her racing tips.
