After bursting onto the modelling scene at age 16, a three-month motorcycle trip for Africa led Kate Peck down a less conventional path, where upon her return to Australia she was selected as the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix 2012 ambassador, followed by becoming MTV Australia’s new VJ.
Kate has since collaborated with Nat Geo People to co-produce and star in ‘A Model Adventure and then host Channel 10’s ‘RPM’. She’s the host of SBS’s The Aus Moto Show, ProMX Championship, the Australian Superbike Championship, and a host and producer for the Australian Off Road Championship (AORC) coverage.
Kate is also a senior journalist at TorqueCafe covering all things two and four wheel; and a co-owner and Director of Women in Automotive–a national organisation increasing representation of women in the automotive industry.
Balancing her love of motorsport, is Kate’s fascination for and expertise in wine–she has completed advanced wine and sommelier qualifications and writes regularly for delicious.com.au–including her famous wine and popular food pairings.

Each participant will be provided with 3 wine samples, with some education provided on the role each varietal (sample) will play and then they’ll be encouraged to create their own blend - and take home their very own personalised bottle.

In this experience Kate Peck shares everything you need to know about tasting wine according to the WSET (Wine Spirit Education Trust) standards and a few 101's of talking to sommeliers and the etiquette of ordering and tasting wine in restaurants.

With a little bit of education and knowledge, could you pick the grapes, the region it comes from - what about the country - is it a Pinot from Aus or a Chablis from France?
