Founder and Director of KWD and KWD & Co., Kate Walker is well respected for her design vision and excellent execution.

Kate has been widely published in Australia’s leading interior magazinesincluding Vogue Living, Belle, Home Beautiful, Inside Out, Grand DesignsAustralia and House & Garden (including seven front cover stories) plus Homes& Gardens (UK), Veranda (USA) and Elegance (Netherlands). She has a strong social media following and online presence, and is sought after by fashion and homeware brands for her innate sense of style.

She has instilled her ethics, integrity and authenticity in her dynamic team of 20 project managers, interior designers and design professionals, who are driven by her guidance, innovation, and design direction.

Kate has the unique ability of being able to visualise a property's potential and turn that vision into reality, creating a home that delivers in terms of liveability and functionality. She understands how to instill that intangible sense of romance that makes a house a home.

Kate made her television debut in 2019 on the Nine Network on the inauguralseries of 'Australia's Best House' (presented by Megan Gale) as one of three industry professionals who were the judges determining the winning properties. She has also appeared on Better Homes & Gardens and Dream Homes Revealed, collaborates with Winning Appliances as a brand ambassador and has been a guest speaker at numerous design events around Australia.
