"Laurence is a true professional. For the 2017 OAC Excellence Awards Laurence was tasked with a challenging performance to bring to life an animated character via a live on-stage performance and live read of a recently released children's book. This annual awards event brings together over 600 staff from the childcare industry from a night of celebration. The audience is challenging to say the least, as the youthful group socialises and often disregards the on-stage content. Despite the short lead time given to Laurence prior to the performance, the unusual content, and a very challenging audience, Laurence was engaging, embodied the character of the performance, and won the crowd over with an entertaining, authentic and charismatic performance that resulted in rapturous applause. In addition to this live performance we have used Laurance for voiceover work as the voice of buddy, OAC's animated mascot for the past twelve months.
