Attitude defines success
As a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) fighter pilot, Matt Hall logged 1,500+ F/A-18 Hornet hours and, on secondment with the United States Air Force, logged 500+ F15E Strike Eagle hours.
Matty has received many awards during his military career, including dux Pilot course, dux F/A-18 Hornet course and dux Fighter Combat Instructor course, the 1997 Fighter Pilot of the Year, and he was awarded a Chief of Air Force commendation for his performance as the Chief Instructor of the 2006 Fighter Combat Instructor course.
Matty spent three years in the United States of America on a USAF exchange programme including combat. He was awarded combat decorations for his service during the Iraq War by both the US and Australia for heroism under fire.
In 2009, Matty resigned from the RAAF as a Wing Commander to allow him to become a full-time race pilot in Red Bull Air Race.
Matty is the reigning Red Bull Air Race World Champion. He placed third in his world championship racing debut, becoming the first rookie in history to make it to the podium. Matty has since accumulated seven wins and 25 podiums, making him the most successful air racing pilot in the modern era.
Matty is currently the Ambassador for the Australian Air Force Cadets.

We engaged Matt Hall to enhance our company's risk management capability and what we received was far beyond what we could have ever expected.
