Previous experience
Police: Matt Mccredie has spent over 20 years in law enforcement, including three years in the New South Wales Corrective Services as a Prison Officer at Long Bay prison and 18 years as a New South Wales Police Officer. During his police service he worked in General Duties at Surry Hills, Redfern and Chatswood Police Stations followed by plain clothes duties in the Sydney District and Northern Suburbs anti-theft units. For the last 10 years of his service he served as a General Purpose Police Dog Handler with his German Shepherds Merlin and Rex.
Author: After a series of injuries sustained on duty he was forced out of the job he loved and has now turned to another passion: writing books. His first book, Blue Paws, was published in 2009 and quickly became a best-seller.
