Monica Lewinsky is a social activist, global public speaker, consultant and Contributing Editor to Vanity Fair. She advocates for a safer social media environment and speaks on digital resilience, privacy, cultivating compassion, overcoming shame and equality for women.
Monica is the host of the podcast Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky, where she explores wide-ranging and candid conversations about what it means to reclaim what’s been lost or taken. Drawing on her own unique experiences and interviewing a diverse range of guests, the podcast offers insight into how people find their way back to themselves – with honesty, curiosity and humour.
She is also an Ambassador for The Diana Award’s Anti-Bullying Program and Bystander Revolution, and a founding board member of the Childhood Resilience Foundation.
In 2014, Monica authored Shame and Survival for Vanity Fair, blending personal experience with cultural commentary. The essay was nominated for a National Magazine Award. In 2015, she delivered her widely viewed TED Talk The Price of Shame, and has since spoken at the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit and the Cannes Lions Ogilvy + Inspire Lecture.
In partnership with Vodafone, Monica co-created the #BeStrong Anti-Bullying Emojis and launched the #ClickWithCompassion campaign. Her PSA “In Real Life” has been viewed over 25 million times and was trending on YouTube.
