Niav shone as one of the 3 main hosts for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 for Optus Sport. She is once again a part of the Network 10 and Paramount Plus coverage of the A-League Men’s and A-League Women’s and the International matches for both the Matilda’s and Socceroos. She is also the host of returning hit show DUBZONE, a Sunday night panel show covering all things Women’s Football streaming on 10Plus for Australian Professional Leagues (APL).
Niav has covered some of the biggest sporting events on the planet and brings an upbeat, positive and thoughtful vibe to everything she does. Niav anchored the coverage of the FIFA World Cup on SBS in 2022, highlights throughout the tournament included hosting a number of games in the Socceroos record-breaking run, as well as the World Cup Final. An incredible sporting triumph for Lionel Messi, who emulated Maradona’s triumph in 1986 to win the tournament for Argentina. In 2021, Niav hosted Euro 2020 on Optus Sport; a tournament that signified the re-emergence of international sport post-COVID-19 and captured the imagination of football fans worldwide. Prior to that, Niav was the Host of the ABC’s flagship sports program, National Grandstand on ABC Radio and the Invictus Games on ABC TV.
