Stuart MacGill is a former Australian cricketer who specialised in leg spin bowling.

Background: Born in Mount Lawley, Perth, Stuart comes from a cricketing family with both his father and grandfather playing state cricket for Western Australia.
Best: During his career Stuart was widely perceived to be Australia's second best leg-spinner behind Shane Warne.
Stuart is credited to have the best strike rate of any modern leg spin bowler, taking 208 wickets at 29.03 with a strike rate of 54.0.
Wine: He is a high achiever and a quiet achiever who loves cricket and appreciates his wine. Stuart has studied wine marketing, has written for wine publications including Selector Magazine and had a weekly column in the Sunday Magazine. He also boasts an extensive wine cellar. In 2007, Stuart's passion for wine saw him host and co-produce his own six-part television series on wine on Foxtel's LifeStyle FOOD. The first series of Stuart MacGill Uncorked won an ASTRA Award in 2008, and a second series went to air later that year.
TV: Stuart's television appearances have also included co-presenting the food series Saturday Kitchen on Channel Seven and numerous guest appearances on programs including Enough Rope with Andrew Denton, The Fat, Sports World, Under the Grandstand and on Fox Sports. In 2009 Stuart anchored SBS Television's exclusive free to air broadcast of the Ashes Series. He is currently a co-host on Triple M's The Grill Team in Sydney.
