Goalkeeper Teagan Micah earned her first call-up to the senior national team prior to the Matildas’ 2017 Tournament of Nations competition.
She was announced as a member of the Australian squad for the 2019 FIFA World Cup and went on to make her senior team debut in June 2021 in a nil-all draw against hosts Sweden.
After a four-year stint with American collegiate side UCLA Bruins, Teagan resumed her professional career with Melbourne Victory for the 2019-20 season.
After a brief stint in Norway in 2020, Teagan returned to Australia and signed with Melbourne City. In May 2021, she returned to Norway, signing with IL Sandviken, before shortly after moving to Sweden and Rosengård.
Teagan made her Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020, contributing a clean sheet against the USA to assist Australia into the tournament's quarter-final stage. Following an impressive win over the United Kingdom, the Matildas would unfortunately fall to Sweden in the tournament's semi-final stage.
This set up a bronze medal rematch against the United States, where Teagan would narrowly miss out on a debut Olympic medal.
A serious concussion suffered while playing for Rosengard late in 2022 put Teagan’s career on hold for several months. She was back in the Matildas squad for the 2023 Women’s World Cup, but as understudy to Mackenzie Arnold.
With Mackenzie injured, Teagan returned to the line-up for two friendlies against Canada in late 2023, where she pulled off some brilliant saves despite the experimental Matildas side going down 1-0 and 5-0.
She has signed with English Women’s Super League (WSL) team Liverpool FC, where she is the first choice keeper. She kept a clean sheet in her WSL debut in a 4-0 win over Brighton.
