In the twenty-plus years since they first appeared on the Melbourne live pub scene, the “boys†have delighted audiences from comedy clubs to symphonic concert halls and everything in between. They have also created numerous narrative musicals for the stage, as well as for children's cartoons and global videogame properties, picking up multiple awards and, through their constant work on television and radio (and, more recently, their popular podcast), becoming a much loved household name along the way.
Previous experience:
Three-part harmony arranged with extraordinary complexity – accompanied by guitars and often piano – make the backbone of a live Tripod concert; a loosely choreographed, expertly timed comedy show, with dynamics that change on a whim and snap back in the blink of an eye. Twenty one years of playing onstage together has galvanised the boys into a world-class comedy show biz juggernaut with whip-smart writing and musical chops to match.
"... one of the funniest things happening in Edinburgh right now. Or possibly the world... there's hardly time to catch your breath in between bouts of uncontrollable laughter... these guys are unbelievable musicians too. Sometimes five stars just aren't enough." - The Scotsman, Edinburgh
"Tripod could be a comedy trio or just a very strange, very talented rock band." - Adelaide Advertiser

Comedy trio Tripod host 2013 Saxton Ultimate Event Experience feat. 'You Could Teach Me' and 'DILF'
Inimitable, iconic and completely off-the-wall, Tripod are famous around the world for their hilarious comedic and musical antics, and were the masters of ceremonies for the 2013 Saxton Ultimate Event Experience. One of the most popular and prolific comedy acts working in the world today, Scod, Yon and Gatesy perform regularly at the biggest music and comedy festivals from London to Los Angeles, and have in recent years embarked on a series of increasingly bizarre productions of epic proportions including the award-winning Tripod versus the Dragon. "Sometimes", wrote The Scotsman, "five stars just aren't enough."Tripod - Let's take a walk

Their ability to entertain a wide variety of people is outstanding
A real wow-factor for our delegates and terrific way to close the day.
I thought Tripod were very talented, and very clever the last part of their act had them singing a song that everyone joined in on, and this got the whole audience going. The interactive part was fantastic.
To say that Tripod, the veteran musical comedy trio from Melbourne, are getting better with age is to risk demeaning their earlier work. Which was awesome. Yet somehow they do seem to be getting awesomer. Or perhaps it's just that they're getting more relaxed with age.
